Are you sure it’s safe?

This shelter cat’s fairly certain that under her bed’s the safest place to be, which isn’t a very subtle hiding place. But what can you do?

Better Hide

It’s a big world out there–

pretty scary

To be fair

some monsters are just jumping

at shadows

vanquished in the sun’s glare

But it’s best to be wary

better hide

About Caitlin Stern

I have a MA in English, and have so many fantasy/urban fantasy WIPs it's not even funny. I'm an avid reader of science fiction, fantasy, mystery, romance, biography, fiction, and anything else that catches my interest. I collect books, and bookmarks I find that are visually appealing and useful.

I have one like this, and she has been with me since a tiny kitten, over a year and a half ago. But she runs & hides under something no matter who approaches her. Her brother is quite different. I have to wonder why Murph still feels threatened after all this time. Don’t you wish you could get inside their heads?
