Day 9 – A book everyone should read at least once.

The Elegance of the Hedgehog; Muriel Barbery

Prickly people are still lovable–they just take more work.

This book revolves around two women hiding who they are–a young girl who believes she’s too smart to live in this world much longer, and an older woman who has spent her life hiding her intelligence from everyone. Twelve-year-old Paloma and Renée, the concierge at Paloma’s apartment, both find an unlikely ally, and then they find each other.

We’re never as alone as we think–someone out there feels much like you do. And it’s never too late try again.

About Caitlin Stern

I have a MA in English, and have so many fantasy/urban fantasy WIPs it's not even funny. I'm an avid reader of science fiction, fantasy, mystery, romance, biography, fiction, and anything else that catches my interest. I collect books, and bookmarks I find that are visually appealing and useful.
