On January 14th, last year, I started this blog.

I had plans for it to be January 1, but I’m distractable  (Aren’t we all?) I feel like I’ve come quite a long way, which I owe a great deal to the other bloggers out there.

I read articles that told me how to blog better–consistently, interestingly, and with a few pictures.

Sometimes the pictures are more related than others.

Sometimes the pictures are more related than others.

I read other people’s posts, about things that interested me, and sometimes got ideas for something to write.

And people read my posts, and liked them, and followed me, which is tremendously encouraging. Each little electronic notification, whatever it’s for, is a sign that communication has been achieved. When you blog, you’re talking to yourself, to no one and anyone, and it’s wonderful when someone tells you:

‘I hear you.’

‘I’ve felt the same way.’

‘You made me think.’

I’m still having a blast, so I’ll keep on blogging. Thanks for listening!
