My July book for the Pride & Prejudice Bicentenary Challenge:
My Dearest Mr. Darcy; Sharon Latham
This is book three of a series of books which start with Darcy and Lizzy’s wedding day, and continue from there.
Darcy and Lizzy have been married for almost a year now. The story opens with letters from Darcy’s uncle George, and follows their celebrations of meeting at Pemberley, Darcy proposing, and their first anniversary. They are very much in love, and together will face and overcome any obstacles in their path.
The couple are basically on an extended honeymoon, full of sweet whispered endearments, and making love all the time–sometimes a little too sweet. More focus is spent on their love than an actual plot, but this book is nonetheless an enjoyable read.
