Found this sycamore leaf on a walk, and brought it home with me. Decided to decorate a conveniently located cat with it.

(Because pets are there for our amusement, too, right?)

She wasn’t quite sure what to make of it, sniffing at it a few times before trying to run away from it. That worked about as well as might be expected–it stayed balanced on her back, and I had to rescue her from it.

Maybe because we don’t really have ‘Fall’ here–the weather hit an unseasonable high in the 80s in the past couple of days–it never feels very autumnal to me. The weather will cool again, of course. But mostly the trees keep their leaves, or the leaves suddenly all die, and fall to the ground.

Nonetheless, I like to pick up the interesting ones, to admire for a moment or two, or perhaps bring home and bother a cat with. 🙂

What Fall things do you like to share with your pets? Or enjoy yourself, if you have no pets?
