and isn’t that apropos?

About Caitlin Stern

I have a MA in English, and have so many fantasy/urban fantasy WIPs it's not even funny. I'm an avid reader of science fiction, fantasy, mystery, romance, biography, fiction, and anything else that catches my interest. I collect books, and bookmarks I find that are visually appealing and useful.

Beautiful! This is the first time I’ve gotten the chance to read one of your poems, but this is brilliant. Are you going to do other colours too?

  2. Lovely 🙂 Here’s a boring fact for you – did you know that descriptions such as ‘red-head’, ‘red-breast’, etc that are used to describe colours that are essentially orange, are described as red because back in the days when we invented those words there was no such word as orange! 🙂

That’s interesting. Every word has to be invented some time!

Robins have a reddish-orange–or an orangey-red–breast. I’ve read color is subjective, anyway, right? 😉
