Hoppy Easter, everybunny! (and I swear that uses my bad joke quota for the week.)

April is National Poetry Month. I’m celebrating with Writer’s Digest’s Poem a Day Challenge. Today’s challenge is a vegetable poem. Due to the holiday, this seemed appropriate.

The table is set with

fruits and vegetables

foil-covered chocolate oranges

and apples

molded chocolate tomatoes

and bunches of grapes

carefully tinted sugar carrots

slices of watermelon

marzipan broccoli

and turnips

piles of healthy-seeming

junk food

About Caitlin Stern

I have a MA in English, and have so many fantasy/urban fantasy WIPs it's not even funny. I'm an avid reader of science fiction, fantasy, mystery, romance, biography, fiction, and anything else that catches my interest. I collect books, and bookmarks I find that are visually appealing and useful.
