April is National Poetry Month. I’m celebrating with Writer’s Digest’s Poem a Day Challenge. Todays theme is work poems.

poetry month trail

If you do a job you love

well, you will work most days of your life

unlike what the dreamers say

but every day won’t be full of strife

because that shining goal you aspire to

will sand the rough edges to contentment

If only your pay

makes your smile shine true

the charm of money will fail in time

Things, in the end, are only things

and memories are more

About Caitlin Stern

I have a MA in English, and have so many fantasy/urban fantasy WIPs it's not even funny. I'm an avid reader of science fiction, fantasy, mystery, romance, biography, fiction, and anything else that catches my interest. I collect books, and bookmarks I find that are visually appealing and useful.
