April is National Poetry Month. I’m celebrating with Writer’s Digest’s Poem a Day Challenge. Today’s idea is to write an honest or dishonest poem.

White Lies

Let me lie to you

tell you the world is fair

people are good and kind

dragons will share their gold

Let me lie to you

tell you no one will ever hurt you

fortune always favors the bold

disasters are easy to repair

Let me lie to you

and then let’s make it true

About Caitlin Stern

I have a MA in English, and have so many fantasy/urban fantasy WIPs it's not even funny. I'm an avid reader of science fiction, fantasy, mystery, romance, biography, fiction, and anything else that catches my interest. I collect books, and bookmarks I find that are visually appealing and useful.
