I have a MA in English, and have a lot of WIP (work in progress) and a few first drafts in science fiction and fantasy. Someday, I hope that something I write is good enough to be published, and that people enjoy it.

What do I read? Short answer, nearly anything. More specifically, science fiction, fantasy, mystery, romance, biography, and fiction, nonfiction. I read quickly, in whatever time I can spare, so I  finish around 250-300 books a year. And there’s still so many books out there I want to read…

I’m infatuated with beautiful journals, notebooks, pens, and especially bookmarks. My bookmark collection includes metal, inlaid wood, ribbon with beads on the end, cloth, pleather, plastic, paper, upcycled book spines, and silverware…  They’re so pretty that I love to use them, even though I tend to lose bookmarks.

Posts planned for Thursdays, as the muse allows.

Thanks for following my blog 🙂 I’m looking forward to reading your posts and think it’s sweet that you love bookmarks (I also love pens and notebooks and just stationary stores in general… like being a child in a candy shop!)

  3. Caitlin, ya big silly! You don’t have a “contact me” page. What if I was a high profile agent and loved somethng you worte? How would I get in contact with you?

Please feel free to delete this off your blog after you read it. 🙂

If you are still interested in being a military content editor on my novel, part one is ready to go. Please contact me through my blog.

Whoa, 400 books a year?!?! I tried reading 50 a year but so far the past years I haven’t cut it to 30 yet…

By the way, I’m addicted to stationary too 😉 Notebooks will be my next post on my blog!

  13. Hi! Thanks for stopping by our blog 🙂 I think it’s amazing how many books you read in a year!

  14. Four hundred books in a year?! That’s incredible! I only barely scraped the surface of a hundred last year. I can’t wait to read more of your blog 😀

I’m a little insane about books, like any avid reader. Sometimes I read instead of eating lunch, or instead of a few hours of sleep, or let my tv shows pile up on the DVR.

Thanks. Glad to have chanced on your blog. Regards from Thom at the immortal jukebox (give it a spin!).

Hope you’ll be able to participate, but if you can’t, that’s good, too. I’m still happy to recommend your blog to my followers. 🙂 Have a great week…OH, and I downloaded the first 5 of the Kate Daniels books at the sale price, thanks! I had the 6th one on their already, since I didn’t get the paperback of that. Yet. This is one of those series where I don’t mind having books both places. And I would have missed the sale, so thanks again.

  17. Heya, I just nominated you for the Very Inspiring Blogger award, on account of me enjoying your writing-related posts. No pressure to accept it or pass it along (especially if you’ve just done one of these), but I thought of your blog so I wanted to give you the award. If you accept it you can nominate as many or as few people as you want. Link: http://drsylvesterfiction.com/2014/07/22/blog-award-nomination-99356-words/

Would you be interested in being tagged for the 777 challenge? The rules are, “In your current WIP, go to the 7th page, 7 lines down, and share 7 lines or so.” You don’t have to post on a specific day or immediately.

  21. WOW, 400 books a year? That is amazing! Out of curiosity, what started your love for books and literature?
